Christine Pill Fisher
About
Christine Pill Fisher joined the Firm in October 2020 and concentrates her practice on legal research and writing. Christy also assists on many of the Firm’s complex cases working on legal briefing, discovery, pre-trial and post-trial motions, and litigation preparation and strategy.
Christy brings a dynamic and strong legal background to the Firm. Christy previously served as a judicial law clerk in the United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia for the Honorable Irene M. Keeley. In that role, she coordinated case management for class action litigation, personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits, and product and premises liability cases, among many others. Christy graduated from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2018 where she graduated first in her class as well as Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers. While at WVU, Christy also received 12 CALI awards, participated in the West Virginia Law Review, the National Moot Court Team, Public Interest Advocates, and the Veterans’ Advocacy Clinic. Prior to law school, Christy worked for her family’s firm, Pill & Pill, PLLC (Martinsburg, WV), performing real estate work across the state and in the Office of the Provost at WVU in the areas of strategic planning and accreditation.
In addition to her legal experience, Christy brings a diverse professional background contributing to her understanding of complex issues and the ability to develop successful litigation and trial strategy, particularly in regard to messaging and advocacy. After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond in art management, Christy obtained a master’s degree in strategic communications from the University of Columbia. While in New York City, Christy also led the marketing for Columbia University’s performing arts center.
Separate and apart from her legal and professional work, Christy has a passion for volunteer and service work. Christy spent a year volunteering in rural Haiti and Southern California. Christy also previously served on the board of directors of Mon Valley Habitat for Humanity and the West Virginia Fund for Law in the Public Interest.
Christy resides in her hometown of Morgantown, WV with her husband and son.
